Spring and Summer Activities (2008)

• Mother/Child Banquet - May 9th at 6:00 - The theme this year is 'County Fair'. It should be great time of fellowship, feasting, and fun.

• Amish Dinner - On May 17th 40 members are gathering to go to a dinner in the home of Rose Wickey in Leonidas. Her address is 52154 Correll Road. Dinner is at 4:30. Meet at the church for carpooling at 3:30, or just meet there.

• Moo-ville - May 24th at about 2:00 we are congregating at Mooville for their Spring Celebration. There will be tours, kids activities, a petting zoo, and most importantly ice cream.

• Vacation Bible School - June 23rd thru 26th - This year Zoe and Company are building on last year Growing Outdoor Disciples (G.O.D.) theme with 'Lessons from the Garden'. Some examples of these are: old fashioned values, supporting each other, composting - nothing is wasted, and dealing with bullies and pests.

• Family Day - The Stultses are hosting a family day at the lake on August 16th. We are invited to show up at 2:00 with a drinks and a dish to pass. There will be hamburgers and hot dogs. This will be a day of swimming, boating, fishing, and play. Thank you, Burrel and Deanna!

• Future Plans - Other Activities with probably include another trip to the Barn Theatre and a Camping Weekend for this summer. This Fall we are looking forward to the Rally Day, a trip to the Crane Festival, and (hopefully) another fish fry.

• Ideas - We are also considering a blueberry picking, a pizza night, a trip to the zoo, a Sunday afternoon buffet trip, apple/pumpkin picking, and a movie night. Your input is valued! Let us know what sounds good to you.
